Tried turning it off, restarting steam, restarting computer. Steam ignores PS4 controllers when ds4 windows or input mapper are running but maybe it is not seeing it shutdown.

disregard, please check next post for clarification Im using Ryochan7s fork on Windows 10 and it works without a hitch (though the original DS4Windows worked for me as well on Win 10).
